Tea Room Rental
Any number of special events may be held in the Museum, usually in conjunction with a Tea Room rental. For the low price of $30 the room may be rented out for either an afternoon or evening. Up to 20 guests may be accommodated, with tea and coffee served. Food may be brought in appropriate to the function, in which case dinnerware will be provided. No alcoholic beverages, smoking or candlelight are permitted. An example of uses in this category would be birthday and anniversary parties, retirement or farewell parties. A member of the staff is present at all times, with additional volunteer staff as needed.
The Tea Room may also be rented for meetings and seminars by local businesses. The Museum offers a quiet, private space in a local setting, with the added feature of additional space in the lower level for pull-out sessions and small group discussions. The large Tea Room is set up according to desired specifications, as for parties. The cost is $30 which included tea and coffee for up to 20 people.
Tea times available are 1 – 4 pm for afternoon tea and 6:30 – 9:30 pm for evening tea.
If a tour is requested, a $1 charge per person or donation is suggested.
