Welcome to Dr. Woods House Museum

Located at 4801-49th Ave in downtown Leduc

This Museum was the home of one of the first doctors in the area, Dr. Robert Woods and family.  Dr. Woods practiced medicine right out of his own home in the fully restored attached medical wing.  Built in 1927 for Dr. Woods, the house is a fine example of Craftsman style architecture, decorated in the Art Deco period.  It charmingly illustrates an upper-middle class lifestyle from the late 1920s to the early 1940s.

The museum is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm, and Saturdays from 12pm to 4 pm during June, July and August. Starting September 1 we will be open  Tuesday through Friday from 10 am to 4 pm for the off season.
